(River Way, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Right Hand Turn) Order 2020
Further to notices: Under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which
commenced on 21/05/2020 and 11/06/2020.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Orders under
section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily prohibit any vehicle travelling north east on River Way
from making a right hand turn in to Temple Bank.
Vehicles will be required to continue north east on River Way to make a U turn at the
roundabout to then turn left into Temple Bank
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on the 02/07/2020 for approximately 1 year
to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public following the increase in demand for the
Harlow recycling centre and reduced capacity of vehicles following the easing of Covid-19
lockdown restrictions.
The Order will come into operation on 02/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the demand for the Harlow recycling centre has reduced, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days
from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’
in that length of Pyrles Lane, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction
with Fairmeads to its junction with Burney Drive a distance of approximately 70m.
“The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and
Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order
2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading
and No Stopping at any time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting
restrictions in the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained
in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restriction is scheduled to commence on 27/07/2020 for 5 days, or where stated
on a valid permit (AZ0071000939494 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these
works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction
is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service main disconnection
works are undertaken by Cadent.
The Order will come into effect on 16/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dobbs Weir Road, Roydon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dobbs Weir Road, Roydon in the
District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Sedge Green for a distance of
approximately 1110m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence
on 27/07/2020 for 47 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZP010F1816A/2/GTC/EPL –
Gas Transportation Co Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate
signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety
of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Gas
Transportation Co Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Sedge Green, Pecks Hill, North Street, Nazeing Road,
Nazeing New Road, New Nazeing Road, Station Road, High Road, High Street, Charlton
Way, Conduit Lane, Dinant Link Road, Essex Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 02/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hobbs Cross Road, Harlow)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hobbs Cross Road, Harlow in the
District of Harlow, from its junction with Elmbridge for a distance of approximately 180m
in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15/07/2020 for
7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBJGDP6J002 – BT). The scheduled
dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine
cabling works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Foster Street, Harlow Common, Potter Street, Old
London Road, Second Avenue, A414 Between Southern Town Boundary And Harlow Mill
Roundabout, First Avenue, London Road, Gilden Way, Gilden Way Spur, Sheering Road
and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 02/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway & Temporary Introduction
of 30mph Speed Limit) (No.6) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified
in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’’ restriction will be introduced
on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the
closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting,
No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the lengths of road as per the schedule.
“The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and
Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order
2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and
No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting
restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained
in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 02/07/2020,
exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each
phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency
services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed
of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
