(B1010 Maldon Road & B1021 Southminster Road, Burnham on Crouch) (30mph & 40mph Speed Limit) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make

the above Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Parts III & IV of Schedule

9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following

length of B1021 Southminster Road, Burnham-On-Crouch in the District of

Maldon from a point in line with the southern kerb line of Cobbins Chase,

in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 123.4 metres

(the road is currently National Speed Limit).

The Essex County Council (Burnham on Crouch) (Restricted Roads) Order

2011 is hereby revoked. All restrictions shall continue in force by virtue of

this order.

(Station Road, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 175m west of its junction with Langford Road for a distance of approximately 390m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22/07/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W00000WBJRPV9M3 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cabling works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Langford Road, Witham Road, Maldon Road, Hatfield Road, The Street, Hatfield Peverel Bypass, A12, Witham Bypass, Hatfield Road - Gershwin Boulevard Roundabout, Ingles Drive, Maltings Lane, Maltings Lane Roundabout and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 09/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Wellands, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wellands, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Heathgate to its junction with Wellands Close, a distance of approximately 150m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20/07/2020 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000948628 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Witham Road, Church Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 09/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Back Lane, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Back Lane, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maypole Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 06/07/2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WBGG2W9Z08 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cabling works are undertaken

by BT.

An alternative route is available via Grange Road, School Road, Maypole Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 25/06/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Prince Of Wales Road, & Catchpole Lane, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Prince Of Wales Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Catchpole Lane for



a distance of approximately 180m in a northwesterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Catchpole Lane, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Prince Of Wales Road for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction.



The closures are scheduled to commence on 06/07/2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000WBGG2W9Z05 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground structure works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Kelvedon Road, Walden House Road, Maldon Road, Princes OfWales Road, Foster Road, Catchpole Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 25/06/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Southminster Road, Asheldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southminster Road, Asheldham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 85m east of its junction with Brook Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly then northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 07/07/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0143431710 -Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while valve frame and cover repair works are undertaken by Essex and SuffolkWater. An alternative route is available via North Street, High Street, Pantile Hill, Queen Street, Scotts Hill, Southminster Road, Main Road, Burnham Road, Steeple Road, Maldon Road, Gospel Corner, Chapel Corner, The Street, Bradwell Road, The Square, South Street, Tillingham Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 25/06/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.3) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order.



2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Areas) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 25/06/2020 exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
