(Broman's Lane) (Temporary Stopping Restriction) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made a temporary Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To temporarily replace current double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) with double red lines (No Stopping At Any Time) on Broman's Lane, from its junction with East Road to its junction with the access road to the country park in the borough of Colchester.

Nothing in the Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer. Nothing in the Order shall apply to any emergency vehicles.

The Order came into operation on 29/06/2020 and may remain in force for a period of up to 18 months.

(Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment Number 4 Part 2) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 Has Made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order: To Introduce and revoke restrictions in the Borough of Colchester as follows: Introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' on Heathfields, Park Avenue, Spring Lane and Woodland Way; 'No Waiting Mon-Fri 9am-10am and 2pm-3pm' on Beech Avenue, Elm Grove, and Woodland Way.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL940 257 with rev 1, TM035 217 with rev 1, TM035 220 with rev 1 and TM035 222 with rev 1 Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 6 July 2020. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Albion Grove, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Albion Grove, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Canterbury Road to its junction with Winchester Road, a distance of approximately 105m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21/07/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2298346 - Essex County Council). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Anthony Close, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with St Johns Road to its junction with St Christopher Road a distance of approximately 330m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22/07/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2298343 - Essex County Council). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 40m south of its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dillbridge Road East, Fairhead Road North & Alderton Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Crown Bays Road to the other junction with Crown Bays Road, a distance of approximately 375m. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fossetts Lane, Fordham in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 150m southeast of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction. (Mill Road, Fordham) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Mill Road, Fordham in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Fiddlers Hill for a distance of approximately 750m in a northerly direction to the point of the current 30 mph speed limit. The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 21/07/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2298242 - Essex County Council). (Northgate Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Temporary Suspension of Prohibition of Entry) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Northgate Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 90m east of its junction with West Stockwell Street for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction.



2. To temporarily suspend the Prohibition of Entry in that length of Northgate Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Short Cut Road to its junction with Middle Mill Road a distance of approximately 245m as cited in the "Colchester Borough (Northgate Street, Colchester) (Prohibition of Entry) Order 2004" for the duration of the closure.
