The proposed development may not accord with the provisions of the Braintree District Council Local Plan Review (2005) and/or Core Strategy (2011) in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated.

(Various Roads, High Roding) (30MPH & 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 20**
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Parts III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 30MPH speed limit on the following length of Rands Road, High Roding in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with B184 The Street, in an easterly direction for approximately 470 metres.
'The Essex County Council (Various, High Roding/High Roothing) (Speed Limits) Order 2007 is hereby revoked. All restrictions shall continue in force by virtue of this order.

(Bendlowes Road, Great Bardfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bendlowes Road, Great Bardfield in the District of Braintree from its junction with Braintree Road for a distance of approximately 200m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29/01/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2288347 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, Alienor Avenue, Bendlowes Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 23/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(East Street, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 25m north of its junction with Manor Street for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/02/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010583994 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Coggeshall Road, Railway Street, Trinovantian Way, Manor Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 09/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Spains End Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spains End Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 2055m south of its junction with Bumpstead Road for a distance of approximately 1150m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/01/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2289776 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ironwork replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Spains End Road, Finchingfield Road, Bumpstead Road, Hempstead Road, Water Lane, Church Street, Eggshell Lane, Cornish Hall End, Tinkers Green Road, Hall Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 23/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 81, Braintree and Bocking) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 81, Braintree and Bocking in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Rose Hill in a westerly direction for approximately 217 metres to its junction with Footpath 80, Braintree and Bocking.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/01/2020 to 13/03/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a collaboration of works are undertaken involving clearance of river banks and dredging as well as works to replace the bridge deck over the River Brain at the weir location.
The alternative route will be via Footpath 80, Braintree and Bocking, Skitts Hill footway and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27/01/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 60, Braintree & Bocking (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 29/06/2020. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 60, Braintree and Bocking in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Rayne Road to its just with the private access road west of Springfield Drive, a distance of approximately 411 metres.
Alternative route will be via Footpath 67, Braintree and Bocking, Footpath 91, Braintree and Bocking, Footpath 60, Braintree and Bocking and vice versa.
The closure commenced on 29/06/2019 and is required for the safety of the public due to construction works being undertaken.
