(The Street, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Kings Lane for a distance of approximately 115m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28/10/2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2282282 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Kings Lane, A120 From J A131/B1256 To J B1024 North Of Coggeshall, Coggeshall Road, Bridge Hall Road, Water Lane, The Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 18/10/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Nether Hill, Gestingthorpe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Nether Hill, Gestingthorpe in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 205m north of its junction with Sudbury Road for a distance of approximately 310m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/11/2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0012NOVEASXL211 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via North End Road, Yeldham Road, Chapel Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11/11/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Gosfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Gosfield in the District of Braintree, from a point 250m south west of its junction with Nuns Meadow for a distance of approximately 105m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000859399 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Beazley End, Bovingdon Road, Church Street, Church Lane, Church Lane Roundabout, Broad Road, Convent Hill, Broad Road Roundabout, High Garrett, Gosfield Road, Braintree Road, The Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 01/11/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Colne Road, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colne Road, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Coggeshall Way for a distance of approximately 400m in northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/10/2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034820446 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install and replace overhead lights are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Head Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 18/10/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads Earls Colne) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 20**
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To extend the existing 40MPH Speed limit on Station Road, Earls Colne, in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 19 metres north west of its junction with the northern kerb line of De Vere Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 77 metres (the road is currently national speed limit). 'The Essex County Council (Earls Colne) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2004' and 'The Essex County Council (B1024 Coggeshall Road, America Road, Curds Road and Station Road, Earls Colne) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2014' are hereby revoked, the restriction contained within these order shall continue in force by virtue of this order.
