IT proved to be a roaring success for the home team as Halstead Boxing Club celebrated a successful Open Boxing Show at Earls Colne Recreation Club.
The show helped raise money for Halstead, with boxers coming from clubs as far away as Ireland.
It was always going to be an eventful night but the star of the show was one of Team Halstead's own female boxers, Rosie Atkins, who unanimously won her debut bout after just six weeks training in the gym.
The rest of the Team Halstead boxers put in a great performance to make some smashing bouts that did themselves, the coaches and their club proud.
The show wouldn't have been the success that it was had it not been for the volunteer helpers, coaches and officials so Team Halstead sent thanks to them all.
