HALSTEAD Boxing Club are preparing to showcase their schoolboy, junior and senior boxers on their Open Show on Saturday, May 20, at the Earls Colne Recreation Club.
Boxing commences from 2pm onwards and everyone is welcome to come along and support the local boxing club.
The club has enjoyed some good results recently and are looking to build on this success for the end of the season.
A new Juniors trophy has been donated by Halstead jewellers John Winter Drake and the club have also received sponsorship from Daniel Robinson & Sons Funeral Directors and from Jon and Hazel Buist from J-Hive Fitness.
Halstead head coach George Cook said: "We would like to also take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors for their continued support of Halstead Boxing Club.
"The development of the club is extremely important as we continue to recognise and nurture talent.
"We are looking forward to a successful season ahead."
