The Turkey Trot winners collect their prizes from the Essex seniors captain Bob Rayner.
THE top three all saw their handicaps cut as the seniors of the Essex Golf and Country Club played their annual Turkey Trot competition on a chilly and breezy morning.
In third, with 41 points, was 18-handicapper Ian Dunbar, who has now been trimmed to 17, while second place, with 43 points, was ten - now nine - handicapper Andy Bedford.
However, the winner, with 45 points, Cliff Wagdin, who saw his handicap cut from 14 to 12.
Nearest the pin on the par three 170 yard 14th hole was Roger Farson.
