TEENAGER Callum Pipe produced a superb display to win the Braintree Club Championship by a street.

The 18 year old plus-one handicapper carded rounds of 68 and 70 for a 36-hole two under par aggregate of 138 and an 11-shot winning margin from James Hedger.

Adam Crane was in third place on 152.

In his opening round, Pipe went out in 32, two under par, with two birdies and added two more in a back nine of 36.

His 68 gave him a five-shot lead over Hedger and he added a level-par 70, containing five birdies, in the afternoon to increase his advantage over the field.

Hedger, playing off one, posted rounds of 73 and 76 for 149, while Crane, off two, had rounds of 77 and 75.

Meanwhile, the men’s Sunday Medal was won by Philip Musgrove (19) with a nett 68, finishing one clear of Dermot Burns (13).

There was a four-way tie on 71 and after a countback James Turley (19) was placed third ahead of Paul Grimsey (10), Andrew Marsay (14) and John Barker (19).

The ladies' Parrish Trophy was won by Alison Holborn (25) with 40 points, two better than runner-up Caroline Fields (20) with Tricia Stallwood (29) third with 37.
