Hayley Davey and Nicola East had strong finishes at the Great East Swim at Alton Water.
A PAIR of Halstead swimmers braved tough conditions to secure strong finishes in their respective age groups at the Great East Swim at Alton Water.
Hayley Davey and Nicola East completed the mile course in challenging and choppy conditions.
East was placed tenth in the 40 to 44 years age group with a time of 36 minutes 19 seconds and Davey was placed 25th in the 35 to 39 years age group with a time of 38m 14s.
