LEISHA Hunt claimed a hat-trick of gold medals to book her place on the Essex and East Anglian team at the Independent Schools' Association (ISA) national athletics finals later this month.
The 13-year-old Gosfield School pupil, who trains at Thurrock Harriers in Grays, was competing in Cambridge and won her first gold in the long jump with a personal best leap of 4.97 metres.
Her second gold came in the 200 metres with a time of 27.3 seconds and she rounded off a golden day by leading the relay team to victory in the last leg.
