COLNE Valley Golf Club's Charley Hatley and Wendy Cook made the Hunter Foursomes progress by defeating the reigning champions.
Holders Sophie Wheeler and Tracey Rooney from Orsett Golf Club were beaten in a tough match that went to the 19th hole.
Meanwhile, Colne Valley ladies' Bronze team came away from Upminster with a 5 -2 win and Sue Petchey represented the club in the England Golf Medal Regional final.
Although Petchey did not make the National final she had a steady round and finished midway in the field of 110 players at Thetford.
Paul Neale emerged victorious in the seniors' monthly stableford with a score of 37 points, just beating second-placed Bernie Gaught on countback, while third place went to John Anderson with 34 points.
The men's stableford saw a victory for Sean Mahon with 42 points, with Daniel Fraser second on 36 and Keith Augustus third with 33.
