Halstead lie second after fourth round of 53-12 Cross-Country League
With two rounds to go, Halstead Road Runners lie second in pool B of the 53-12 Cross-Country League after the fourth round at Hadleigh.
Halstead’s men were third and their ladies’ fourth.
RESULTS: Men: Nathan Roulson 43rd, Richard Candler 54th, Andrew Warner 57th, Andy Owen 63rd, Bob Langley 71st, Sam Wolton 109th, Mike Grealy 110th, Paul Hinsley 115th; Ladies: Hazel Buist 24th, Mel Candler 27th, Wendy Carter 31st, Nicole Smith 59th.
Danny Hewitt and Dean Cutting both set personal best times at the Victoria Park 10K, with Hewitt finishing in 44 minutes 58 seconds and Cutting in 53m 35s.
