Molly Gerrard and Eloise Conway were in record-breaking form at Basildon and now join Theo Park at the Regional Winter Championships in Luton this weekend.
There were outstanding performances from all the 13 Halstead Swimming Club senior swimmers who qualified to compete at the Essex Winter Championships at Basildon and four new club records were set.
Molly Gerrard broke the under-12 100 metre freestyle record and Eloise Conway broke the under-14 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 100m butterfly previous bests.
Theo Park achieved the club’s highest ranked position, finishing tenth in the county in the 100m individual medley.
Competing swimmers at the Essex Championships were Caitlin Greene, Conway, Harry B Smith, Iona Bradbury, Kai Adams, Katherine Daynes, Lewis Archer, Lewis Craig, Rose Barrow, Robert Brown, Gerrard, Sam Jones and Park.
