The vice-captain’s team celebrate their win against their counterparts from the captain’s team at the Essex Golf and Country Club.
It was the vice-captain’s team who took the honours this year in the annual seniors captain v vice-captain match at the Essex Golf and Country Club.
In the Hambro-format match, where points are awarded for holes won or drawn in each match, the captain’s team’s tally of 149.5 points was eclipsed by the vice-captain’s 160.5.
Nearest the pin on the seventh hole was new seniors member Steven Burnett.
