FC CLACTON and HALSTEAD TOWN both made FA Vase progress.
The Seasiders defeated Stansted 2-0 at the Rush Green Bowl, thanks to second-half goals from Billy Wales and Aaron Condon.
Wales produced a well-directed header from Condon’s cross.
And the latter then grabbed his side’s second after drilling home from inside the box.
Halstead also advanced to the second qualifying round after upsetting premier division side Haverhill Rovers 1-0.
BRANTHAM ATHLETIC are in first qualifying round action on Sunday afternoon, at home to Essex Senior League side Sawbridgeworth Town (kick-off 2pm).
