Malachy Shields celebrated his Captain’s Day in glorious sunshine at Gosfield Lake Golf Club.
The winner on the Lakes course, after a very close finish, was Andrew Farquharson with 41 stableford points.
Taking second place on countback was club president Tony Rowe, who just stayed ahead of Gavin Argent in third after both had 40 points.
The prize for best lady was Diane Wyatt with 32 points, while the winner of the front nine was Alan Furness with 22 points and best back nine went to Steve Cattermole with 23.
On the Meadows course, the winner, with 39 points, was Steve Maynard. Second place went to Chris Wilks-Wiffen on 36 points, with Ivan Chapman in third place, one point behind.
