There were lots of surprises at the fourth round of the GH Motorcycles/Husqvarna/Eastern Centre Enduro Championship at Home Farm in Little Hadham.
The first came in the Championship class, where competition leader Aston Bird could only manage fourth on the day.
Instead it was a one-two-three for Sudbury Motor Cycle Club as Jamie Roper took the win and another surprise came as clubmate Sam Toy finished second and in front of his mentor, Chris Hockey.
Sudbury riders Steve Mason and Craig Roper also secured fifth and sixth respectively, while Tim Rose of Diss was seventh.
Bird’s lead in the class has been reduced to five points by Jamie Roper with Hockey a further nine points adrift in third.
