Halstead Town are celebrating a significant new sponsorship deal that they hope will propel them forward both on and off the pitch.
Earls Colne-based company Milbank Concrete Products are the new club sponsor and have already been helping with the ground improvement works that are ongoing at Rosemary Lane.
Milbanks managing director Andy Mayne said: “Milbank Concrete Products are very proud of our good reputation and the majority of that success is down to the loyalty and professional attitude of our 164 employees, many of them live locally to our depot at Earls Colne.
“It has always been the board’s intention in times of success to give back to the community by lending our support to worthwhile projects.
“With Halstead Town Football Club and its tireless work with over 20 junior teams ranging from seven-year-olds to 18-year-olds, it is important that they and their parents have a facility to be proud of and any assistance we can offer to achieve this we will gladly do.”
Ken Gilliard from the club said: “We are delighted to announce that we have secured sponsorship from Milbanks Concrete Products for the upcoming season but also their support in the activities we have planned.
“The club are excited, not only by the activity taking place, but the involvement of such a well respected local company as they can provide us with much assistance in so many ways.”
