Halstead Town manager Mark Benterman says he wants to echo the positive work being done off the field at Rosemary Lane this summer with the graft he is doing in building his squad for the Thurlow Nunn League next season.
A fans-led initiative is transforming the Humbugs’ home ground ahead of the start of the division one campaign in August with work continuing on improving the facilities for supporters and players alike.
And Benterman has been equally busy as he brings together a team capable of earning promotion into the premier division, announcing that there would be two new faces among his backroom staff as preparations continue for the season ahead.
Alan Cliffe will provide advice to the first-team squad during pre-season on conditioning to make sure players start the campaign as fit as they can be, while Jon Strange will work with the team in an analysis role looking at data from games and training.
