Halstead Cricket Club’s annual beer festival will take place on the weekend of May 23 to 25.

A large selection of real ales will be on offer at the festival at the club’s Star Stile ground over the Bank Holiday weekend, with the bar open from 11am to 11pm.

The Saturday sees the club’s second and third teams at home in Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship action, starting at 1pm along with a barbecue.

There will be a hog roast and performance from the Victory Jazz Band on the Sunday, with the North Essex Cricket League side playing host to High Easter.

Bank Holiday Monday again sees a barbecue alongside the Senior XI welcoming Chelmer Vets for a 2pm start.

All are welcome – members and non-members alike – and there is no admission fee.

The club night, which will take place on the evening of May 23 is for members only, with tickets available from the bar at Star Stile.

Music will be from Anything Else.
