Halstead Road Runners’ Sam Wilson headed to New York to take part in the city’s huge ten-kilometre race.

Competing in a field of more than 8,000 athletes, including many elite professionals, Wilson flew the yellow flag of Halstead and finished in a very respectable time of 53 minutes 31 seconds to place him 3,150th.

Good Friday marked the annual Sudbury five-mile fun run with many Halstead runners competing in this popular event.
