Today will see Sudbury Motor Cycle Club’s first-ever Extreme Enduro take place at Foxborough Quarry in Sible Hedingham.
Over the last eight weeks the course has been marked out and obstacles of tractor tyres, large concrete slabs and tree trunks have gradually been put into place.
Entries are still coming in and it is hoped they will reach the 80 mark before the event.
There are four classes – Pro, Expert, Clubman and Trials – with each class beginning separately at one-minute intervals with a Le Man-style start with the competitors running to their machines.
The event is due to get started at 11am and runs for two intense hours non-stop.
The Sudbury club are hoping for good conditions on the day which will make this first adventure well worthwhile.
