Nico Farthing has returned to Halstead Town.
The former Halstead Town Academy youngster is back at the club after spells at Brantham Athletic last year and Heybridge Swifts this season.
He slotted into the centre of defence alongside skipper Lewis Cunliffe as one of four new additions in their 1-1 Thurlow Nunn League division one draw at Swaffham Town last weekend.
There was also a debut for 19-year-old right-back Mike Walsh, who had joined from Clapton and Kayan Guiller, who joined last week from Tower Hamlets.
Guiller’s regular position is in the centre of midfield, but Benterman said he had played at Swaffham at left-back due to injuries for four of his other full-back options.
The other new addition for the trip to Swaffham came from in-house as Brad Keefe was drafted in from the Humbugs’ reserves.
