Halstead Town manager Mark Benterman expects the latest addition to his squad to make a start when the Humbugs host Needham Market Reserves in Thurlow Nunn League division one today.
Kalon Harms has joined on loan from premier division side FC Clacton and after impressing in Halstead Town Reserves’ 3-2 win at Hadleigh Reserves on Tuesday, is set to start for the first team at Rosemary Lane tomorrow.
Benterman said: “Kal will start.
“He played for the reserves and he is that good so I’m prepared to put him straight in.
“He had two chances, put one away and hit the post.
“He is young and hungry and I said to him that he reminded me of a pit bull – I certainly wouldn’t like to play against him.
“He will set the tone for others to play around him."
