Goalkeeper Luke Banner is set for a longer stay at Halstead Town.
Banner had orignially joined Halstead on a one-month loan deal from Thurlow Nunn League premier division side Stanway Rovers as cover while Jack Cherry recovered from a knee injury.
Cherry is back available now, but Banner has now agreed to extend the initial deal for an additional four weeks and it means he will now be at Rosemary Lane for another six weeks in total.
Manager Mark Benterman said: “The loan window is closing soon and even though we have Jack available again, we didn’t want Luke to go back to Stanway, get loaned out elsewhere and then be left with just one keeper."
