Colne left kicking their heels again

EARLS Colne were again defeated by bad weather conditions last weekend.

Both their first and reserve-team games were postponed, in the Kent Blaxill Essex and Suffolk Border League.

The first team had been due to travel to premier division mid-table rivals Hatfield Peverel. They are desperate to get back on track, after losing 2-1 at Holland FC in their last outing, on January 12.

Colne’s second string were due to entertain Harwich and Parkeston.

They too are keen to get back on the victory trail in the reserves premier division, having lost 6-1 at home to Alresford Colne Rangers on January 12.

As for tomorrow’s games, the first team are due to travel to Alresford, while Colne’s reserves host West Bergholt.

Both games kick-off at 2.30pm.
