Powerlifter Alderman is setting his sights on Glasgow and Rio

POWERLIFTER Adam Alderman is back with a vengeance – determined to make up for his Paralympic heartbreak.

The 29-year-old, from Sible Hedingham, was pipped at the post in terms of being selected for last year’s London Games.

“Adam was so disappointed to miss out on London,” said dad and personal trainer Brian.

“The decision hit him hard and his training was executed with a little less enthusiasm than before.

“Thankfully, he’s got that fire in his belly again now, though."
