Melford are hit for six by classy Town

HALSTEAD Town hammered neighbours Long Melford 6-0 today, in Thurlow Nunn League division one.
It was an emphatic response to last weekend’s 4-0 defeat against Saffron Walden.
Jon Root scored twice, with Town’s other goals coming from Reis Farley-Hearn, Jordan Hutchings and young pair Reggie Appleby and Tom Barry.
