Essex County Cricket Club have announced Jaik Mickleburgh has signed a new one year contract with the County.
The deal will keep batsman with the County until at least the end of the 2016 season.
Mickleburgh, 25, made his debut for the County away at Leicestershire in 2008, and has played over 100 times in all formats. He has a highest score of 243, compiled against Leicestershire in 2013.
“I am delighted to have signed a contract extension at Essex," said Mickleburgh. "The Club is a huge part of my life and I’m proud to be playing for this team. We’ve got plenty of talent in the dressing room and will be pushing hard for success in 2016.”
