CHASE Lane Primary School emerged victorious in the 67th Fisherman’s Cup final.

They defeated Two Village 7-0 at Harwich and Parkeston's Royal Oak ground.

Having already won the indoor five-a-side tournament and league one trophy, Chase Lane were desperate to add the prestigious trophy to their collection.

They started well, with Toby Perry scoring early on, and two more goals quickly followed from forward Caiden Lewis.

Chase Lane controlled the play and showed maturity beyond their years, not allowing their opponents many opportunities to get back in the game.

Their dominance continued after the break, with League Cup final hero Pip Roberts scoring and then squaring to allow man-of-the-match Ellis Taylor to notch his first goal in five appearances at the Royal Oak.

Two Village were unlucky not to score as they hit the bar.

Both Taylor and Roberts then added to their tally to see the final score finish at 7-0.
