Witham Dolphins' Isobel Banning claimed an Essex silver medal at the Open Water Championships in Norfolk.
WITHAM Dolphins Swimming Club captain Isobel Banning excelled as she competed in the county and regional open water five-kilometre championships at Whittingham Lake in Norfolk.
The distance is equivalent to 200 lengths of the Witham main pool and Banning came second in her 17 to 19-year-old age group in Essex and 11th in the East region.
She finished in an impressive time of one hour 22 minutes 43 seconds.
