GRANGE Farm and Dunmow Runners' James Bosher had recovered enough from his Berlin Marathon run to finish fastest for the club at the Pleshey Half-Marathon.

He crossed the line 21st of the 397 competitors in one hour 20 minutes 41 seconds.

Martin Atkinson won a County silver medal, finishing second in the M60-69 category, in a personal best time of 1h 35m 43s, while Octavia Singleton won bronze in the F35-44 category in 1h 36m 52s.

Singleton was joined by Grange Farm's Kerry Harrington (1h 42m 21s) and Pru Hayhow (1h 43m 12s) to win the Essex silver team award.

There were personal best times for Sean Henderson (1h 32m 12s), Harrington (1h 42m 21s) and Lauren Bowen (2h 15m 26s).
