Tiptree Road Runners’ James Haskey-Jones and Tracy Harrington completed the Flitch Way 100 kilometre ultra event over ten laps of a 10k course.

With consistent steady running throughout, Haskey-Jones finished in ten hours and 42 minutes and Harrington in 11h 3m.

At the Hadleigh Legacy 10k, a hilly multi-terrain event over part of the Olympic mountain biking course, Stacy Hember finished in 1h 7m 58s, Kim Broughton 1h 8m, Lindsey Visage 1h 14m 57s and Louise Hawkins 1h 18m 25s.

Edward Skinner ran one of the toughest cross-country races in the country, the Southern Counties championship over nine miles of a very hilly, muddy Parliament Hill Fields in London.

He finished 961st.

At the Maldon Prom Parkrun, Jonathan Finch ran 20m 6s to take second place with Paul Dellar fourth in 20m 55s and Graeme Moon 23m 31s.

Frances Gridley broke her personal best and F55 club record with a run of 24m 24s.

There were personal bests for Lorraine Baker 25m 47s and Lorina Marsh 29m 25s.

Peter Banks ran 24m 52s, Iain Rhodes 29m 16s, Pat Rhodes 30m 3s, Kim Broughton 32m 58s, Sue Long 33m 33s, Rose Haskey-Jones 33m 49s and Anita Leaver 35m 22s.

The Knight family turned out in force at the Bradford Parkrun.

Vicky finished in a season’s best of 23m 48s, Finlay ran 27m 58s and Euan and Anthony went round in 36m 24s, pushing baby Meghan.

Jeff Fairfull finished the Brentwood Parkrun in 33m 30s and Tim Ford completed the Netley Abbey Parkrun in 23m 59s.
