HARWICH schoolgirl Emma Joslin has tasted success Down Under.
The 15-year-old competes in polocrosse – a combination of polo and lacrosse – and has just returned from the Australian Junior Classic.
Her team won the A grade junior competition in Sydney, after being picked to compete by the UK Polocrosse Association.
In addition, Joslin recently attended a UK Polocrosse Association training camp and has just been selected to represent England in the pony club inter-nations competition at the end of July, in Cheshire.
Joslin, who plays for Warwickshire polocrosse team Arden, helped her team come second at last year’s National Championships.
The Harwich and Dovercourt High School student is having another great season and has just won the final of a tournament in Rugby, with her Arden team.
She is keen to find a sponsor to help with the costs of competing.
