Former Colchester United promotion winner Kevin Watson has been appointed as Stevenage's new assistant manager.
The 41-year-old will work as number two at Broadhall Way alongside his former U's team-mate Teddy Sheringham, who was appointed as the League Two club's new manager last week.
Watson had last week accepted a role to work as a full-time academy coach at Colchester and had also taken over as manager of Ryman League division one north side, Maldon and Tiptree.
The Jammers are yet to comment on the appoint.
