Witham Town's fixture backlog problems have got worse with the postponement of today's Ryman League premier division.

Garry Kimble's team had been due to play at Billericay Town but a waterlogged pitch led to the fixture being postponed and that will have done nothing to help Witham's position.

No-one has played fewer games than Witham in the top flight and they are up to five games in arrears of some of their rivals.

Their next game is now due to be a Robert Dyas League Cup clash against AFC Sudbury at the Village Glass Stadium on Tuesday.
