WIVENHOE TOWN got back on the victory trail today with a 2-1 success at home to Gorleston.
The visitors took an early lead in the Thurlow Nunn League premier division contest at the Maple Tree Cars Stadium.
But Hassan Ayten made it all-square before half-time and Charlie Goodlake popped up with a winner from Ayten's corner.
It was Wivenhoe's first league win since September 13 and match-winner Goodlake described it as a "massively needed three points".

Elsewhere, the premier division derby between FC Clacton and Stanway Rovers was postponed, due to a waterlogged pitch, as was Brantham Athletic's match at Ely.
In division one, Halstead Town lost 3-0 at home to Great Yarmouth while Braintree Town Reserves won 2-0 at Cornard United.
