Honour for Alex as takes her place in under-16s Academy squad
Hockey player Alex Went has been selected for the National Age Group Academy Squad at under-16 level.
This selection is more impressive for the 14-year-old from Weeley Heath as she is only in year ten at school.
It means the Felsted School pupil is only one of seven under-15s in the country to be asked to be part of the under-16 squad and is the only Essex representative.
