Stanway Rovers boss Angelo Harrop says he has a squad capable of producing magic this season.

The Thurlow Nunn League side are flying high near the top of the premier division, having trumped leaders Norwich United last Saturday.

They are also still going strong in the FA Vase – enjoying a run that they hope to continue in today’s second-round tie at Watford side Sun Sports.

Harrop has described the showdown as “exciting but very difficult” – but feels sure he has the personnel capable of a positive result.

“We’ve had Sun Sports watched, although it’s always difficult at this level as teams chop and change,” said the Stanway boss, who will be without the injured Mark Maher and Craig Hughes.

“This is our toughest test and when the draw was made, it was exciting but very difficult."
