Six goals in the first hour of their match at Peacehaven and Telscombe saw Witham Town return with another Ryman League premier division point to their name.

However, there was ultimately a sense of frustration as the visitors had twice held a two-goal advantage during the game.

A brace of goals by James Robinson put Witham in charge after the first half-hour and they held on to that 2-0 lead at half-time.

It was halved just after the break in the 51st minute, but John Watson re-established Witham's two-goal advantage within 60 seconds.

However, any celebrations were cut short as Peacehaven again found the target in the 53rd minute in a hectic spell.

And after the hosts pulled level in the 59th minute the game ended with both sides having to settle for a point in a 3-3 draw.
