Phil Reeve’s Captain’s Day went down a storm at Playgolf Colchester.
The course conditions were excellent and the event received great support, with cash prizes on all par-three holes.
The best team on the day was made up of Mick Hersant, Steve Turner and Alan Barrett, who amassed a total of 97 points.
The score was accumulated using the best score on holes one to six, best two scores on holes seven to 12 and best three scores for the remaining six holes.
Peter Quilty won the best individual men’s prize, while Carol Farrance claimed the ladies’ individual accolade.
Nathan Soton won the men’s nearest the pin prize on the 16th, while Gina Macmillan won the prize on the third.
