Storms bring waterlogging woe for Witham
Witham Town's hopes of Ryman League premier division action were sunk by torrential rain in the early part of the day ahead of their game against Kingstonian.
The storms that swept across large parts of Essex on Saturday morning left sections of the Village Glass Stadium pitch under water and the game had to be postponed.
It means Witham's next action is now their Essex home derby against East Thurrock United on Tuesday.
