Hedingham School pupil Clarice Parrott enjoyed more success at the Essex Schools AA Championships, in Chelmsford.
She continued her golden run of medals at major county championships by taking the under-17 long jump title with a final leap of 5.04 metres.
Representing the north-west district of the county, it was far below her normal best but was achieved while running into a very fierce head wind.
Parrott has now taken long jump gold at every Essex School AA Championships for the last five years, from under-13 through to under-17 level.
