Halstead Cricket Club skipper Tom Philp has challenged his side to kick-start their season by going on a winning run.
The club are bottom of the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League after last week’s three-wicket defeat at Swardeston.
However, they produced a battling performance and, with a sequence of four home games coming up, Philp believes his team can revive their fortunes at Star Stile.
“We’ve got a run of home games coming up and it’s important we pick up points, to stand us in good stead for the second half of the season,” said the Halstead captain.
