Halstead Town turned on the style to move into the last four of the Ridgeons First Division KO Cup with a fine 3-0 win at Great Yarmouth Town.

They inflicted upon the league leaders their first home defeat of the season on Tuesday night to book a semi-final meeting with Whitton.

Jimmy Pirie grabbed a first-half brace and Ray Turner settled it early in the second half, while keeper Ed Wootten was in fine fettle.
