HALSTEAD and District Motor Cycle Club will be holding the Richard Fitch Memorial meeting on Sunday at Little Loveney Hall in Wakes Colne.

The meeting is in honour of an admired Halstead club member who tragically lost his life racing at Hawkstone Park in 2005 and practice ahead of the day's racing starts at 10am on Sunday.

Experts entered are last year’s winner George Grigg-Pettit, Halstead club member Jason Morland, who had a big off at the recent Littleport clubs meeting at Mildenhall, Shaun Southgate, Luke Benstead, Luke Parker, past winner Brad Tomlin and many more well-known faces plus a full line-up of junior riders.

The programme also includes the fourth round of the ACU Centre EVO Championship with riders including Tomlin, Brett Fisher, Jon Barfoot, Glen Bixby and Jason Morettes involved.

With a full entry of riders, the EVOs always put on some exciting racing and the meeting will draw to a close with the Richard Fitch 'Le Mans start' final.
