MARGARET Bentley and Sue Spittlehouse finished a point clear to win Stoke by Nayland Golf Club Ladies' 18-hole Greensomes competition.
They registered 34 points to finish ahead of runners-up Elaine Davidson and Corinne Jackson, with Hilary Cairns and Karen Lewis third with 32 points.
A total of 12 ladies pairs took part in the competition on the Constable course where the greens were lightning quick, making putting a little tricky.
Stoke by Nayland GC's Lady Vets had their AGM before playing a nine-hole Greensomes competition.
The winning team were the incoming Lady Vets Captain Karen Lewis and outgoing Vets Captain Diana Harris.
