COLNE Valley Golf Club's men's and ladies' sections contested their respective Kim Hurley Pro Salver competitions.

Mike Blinman was the toast of the men’s event, seeing off the field and winning with a score of +1.

Runner-up Paul Davies finished level while Alistair Bailey was third, on -2.

The ladies’ version was won by Cynthia Hollingsworth who was level with the course.

Jane Taylor was second with a score of -2 while Marion Gaunt and Celia Larkham were tied third, both on -3.

Colne Valley GC's ladies held their 2017 Guest Day which was brilliantly supported, with 25 pairs competing for the honours.

Amanda Rollins and guest Lyn Bewley took the spoils, with 45 points.

Dianne Jeggo and her guest Rosemary Kerr were two points behind in second while third spot was taken by Sue Drysdale and Lorna Woodroffe, with 40 points.

The top team of four prize went to Diane Jeggo, Rosemary Kerr, Ruth Finch and Bridget Couch.
