COLCHESTER Swimming Club claimed a huge haul of gold medals at this years Essex Masters competition at Basildon.
The club finished a very creditable fourth overall, after competing against the best Masters swimmers from across the county.
with everyone put in excellent performances, achieving individual best times and winning multiple medals.
Colchester boasted a combined medal haul of 21 gold, 12 silver and 14 bronze medals.
Colchester's newly-appointed assistant head coach Katie Holmes won the top female swimmer of the meet, while Simon Emm finished a close fourth in the men’s section.
